Yemen seeks fishery cooperation with Spain

Yemen's Ambassador to Madrid Nabil Maisari discussed on Wednesday with the Secretary General of Fisheries at the Spanish Ministry of Fisheries and Food cooperation in fishery field.

Ambassador Maisri handed over the Spanish official the first draft of the suggested amendments of the Memo of Understanding between the two countries in fishery field and needed proposals in fields of infrastructure, researches, supporting fish farming, cooperation in field of commercial and industrial trade and supporting fishermen and traditional fishing.

For her part, the Spanish official expressed keenness of her country to improve fishery relations with Yemen.

She promised of activating cooperation between the two countries and answer to Yemen's proposal.
