Houthishave killed and injured 32000 civilians since they mounted their coupd'état that sabotaged Yemen's historical transformation inSeptember 21, 2014, a local NGO said.

In a statement issued on the sideline of the UNHRC's 39th session in Geneva on Monday, the Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations said the Iran-affiliated "militia killed 10188 civilians and injured nearly 22,000 others including women and children in different Yemeni provinces in the period from September 21, 2014 to September 2018."

The statement said that most of the casualties were incurred in Taiz (3072 killed and 13589 injured), followed by Lahj, Aden, Dhale'a and Ibb.

The militia abducted and forced the disappearance of 18750 peaceful oppositionists to them, includingjournalists, politicians, protesters, educators, doctors, engineersand others.

The statement said 517 people were forced into disappearance and 753 people were subjected to torture in the Houthi jails, read the statement.

The statement said that most of the tortures (240 cases) occurred in the capital Sana'a, followed by Ibb, Dhamar, Sana'a province, Hodeidah, Beidha and Taiz.
