Minister of Human Rights (HR) Mohammed Asker met Friday with the Director of Middle East Department in the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC).

Asker praised the significant role of the (ICRC) describing it as vitally important and helpful in Yemen now highly appreciating the efforts have been made by the ICRC to help the Yemeni people and mitigate the humanitarian suffering. He noted that the ICRC has a key role to play in Yemen at this critical stage.

The Minister stated that the government is willing to increase cooperation with the ICRC." The government is ready to help coordinating all efforts and provide all necessary conditions to enable the ICRC doing its job easily and successfully", said Asker.
