GENEVA-SABA
A Yemeni watchdog against human rights abuses has warned the international community of turning a blind eye to the crimes of the armed Houthi group against civilians.
The Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations, in a speech delivered by its member Riyadh al-Dobaee at the 39th session of the UNHRC in Geneva on Wednesday, called the international community to take a serious stance toward the Houthi crimes against civilians.
The Coalition warned that the "international turning of blind eye" to the acts of this group and its regional supporters encourages Houthis to go wild in their violations of the oppositionists' rights to life, physical safety and freedom of expression.
