A workshop on evaluating damages hit water sector in urban areas in Yemen has been held on Wednesday here.
The third phase of the workshop has been sponsored by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH or GIZ.
In the workshop attended by participants from the World Bank, the European Union, the UN concerned office and a number of international organizations, Deputy Minister of Water and Environment Tawfeeq al-Sharjabi said the study has been made in a period between January 2017 and April 2018 by local and foreign experts.
He pointed out that the workshop is additional one to pervious workshops on water in Yemen and the support could be provided by donors to water sector.
He confirmed that the study included all damages hit the water corporations whether by clashes or crises resulted from the conflict.
