AmbassadorShuga'ddin explains Yemen's situations in Austria
[14/09/2018 05:09]

VIENNA-SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to Vienna HaithamShuga'ddin discussed on Friday with the Secretary General of Austrian Foreign Ministry Johannes Peterlik situations in Yemen and military developments in Hodeida, as well as the complicated humanitarian situation over Houthi coup on the state.

He expressed government's appreciation for humanitarian support provided by Austria in 2018 and Yemen's aspirations for more support.

He renewed support of the government of Yemen to peace effort sponsored by the UN and its envoy to Yemen.

He made it clear that Houthi rejection of attending Geneva talks confirms their unwillingness of reaching peace agreement based on the three references for ending suffering of the Yemeni people.

Shuga'ddin acquainted the Austrian official with government's comments on the report of the High Commission for Human Rights on Yemen as the report lacked professional and neutral principles and contradicted international resolutions and UN Resolutions on Yemen.

For his part, the Austrian official expressed support of his country to efforts for ending the war in Yemen and reaching permanent peace.
He showed his country's readiness for continuing humanitarian support to Yemen via relevant organizations.
