Ministry of Public Health and Population and Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) singed on Thursday extending the treaty of maternity and childhood health and nutrition for additional four years.

The project aims at improving the nutrition situation and reduction of health problems among mothers and children in rural areas.

According to the treaty, JICA will contribute 380 million Yen from the beginning of the project.

Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. NaserBa'om and Prime Representative of JICA in Yemen and Egypt signed the treaty.
