MOSCOW-SABA
Yemen's Ambassador to Moscow Dr Ahmed Salim Al-Wohaishi asserted that the Yemeni legitimate Government is supporting the UN special envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths and it is constructively dealing with his peace proposal and it is willing to resume peace process based on the three terms of reference as well as to participate actively in any political consultations.
Al-Wohaishi's statement came as he met Thursday with the Head of Middle East Department in the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Zulotov.
The Ambassador detailed the Russian official about the Houthi putschist militia's threats to International maritime navigation in the Bab Almandeb Strait; citing the militia's attack against the Saudi oil tanker on July 25,2018 as a case-in-point.
Al-Wohaishi also pointed out to the recent hideous crime the Houthi militia committed against the humanity by targeting Al-Thawrah Hospital and Fish market in Hodiedah city.
The Russian official voiced the Russian government's solidarity with the Yemeni people and Russian support to the legitimate Yemeni government in different fields.
He stated that Russian government has always been interested in protecting international maritime navigation in Bab Al-Mandeb and it won't save any effort to make peace in Yemeni through the UN and its envoy to Yemen.
