Yemen's Ambassador to the Switzerland Federation Dr Ali Mohammed Mujwar met Thursday with Director of Middle East and North Africa Department in the Foreign Ministry of Switzerland Volvgang Brulhart.

Aspects of bilateral ties between the two countries were discussed.

Mujawar briefed the Swiss official on the situations in our country, particularly the developments in the city of Hodeidah and underway peace efforts made by the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffiths. He stated that legitimate government is keen to deal positively with the Griffiths's good offices.

Dr Mujawar pointed out to Iran's flagrant interference in Yemen's internal affairs by supporting the Houthi putschist militia to threaten international marine navigation in the Red Sea.

Discussions also touched upon Switzerland's support for Yemen in the humanitarian and development domain.
The Swiss official reiterated the Switzerland's support to our country in humanitarian field and by hosting peace consultations.
