VP.discusses human rights violations by Houthis with Minister Askar

Vice President Ali Mohsen discussed with Minister of Human Rights Mohammad Askar on Wednesday humanitarian situations across the provinces and efforts of the ministry in monitoring violations and crimes of Houthi militia against Yemenis.
In the meeting, Askar provided a report to the Vice President on efforts and accomplishments of the ministry during international participations in international forums including Paris Conference and Human Rights Council's Meeting in Geneva in coordination with regional and international organizations in conveying suffering of the Yemeni people over Houthi coup and violations by the militia.
Vice President praised efforts exerted by the ministry, highlighting exerting more efforts in boosting humanitarian awareness among citizens and coordination with international organizations operating in human rights field to inform the world on Iran-backed Houthi militia's crimes.
For his part, Minister Askar expressed his appreciation to support and concern of Vice President with human rights violations committed by Houthis.
He reviewed Houthi serial of crimes; killing, displacing and terrifying journalists, politicians and citizens and looting their salaries and people'spossessions and seizing relief aid.
