Prime Minister Ahmad Obeid bin-Daghr received on Thursday at Yemen's Embassy here the head and members of Peace Track Initiative on boosting women's role in making peace.
In the meeting, which included 20 leading Yemeni women, Prime Minister confirmed the role played by women in alleviating conflict's effects in their societies and their role in peace building.
He stressed that the peace process in Yemen must be just and tackles reasons of conflicts not its effects and this will not be achieved only through the three peace references; the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
He pointed out to the government's efforts in supporting the task of the UN envoy for reaching just peace agreement in accordance with the three references agreed upon internationally, regionally and nationally.
President Hadi and the government take care of all provinces, especially in Taiz, which suffer unjust siege by Iran-backed Houthi militia, said bin-Daghr.
He pointed out that the government pays YR eight billion as salaries to Taiz employees regularly despite that the rebel militia controls most of the province's revenues.
