Interior Minister praises Emirati humanitarian and developmental support for Yemen

Deputy Premier, theMinister of Interior Ahmed Al-Maysari, praised the humanitarian and development support that the United Arab Emirates offers to the Yemeni people in the provinces liberated from the control of the Iran affiliate Houthi militia.

He made the remarks during his visit to the headquarters of the Humanitarian Operations center of the United Arab Emirates in the interim capital Aden accompanied by the commander of the UAE forces, the commander of the Arab Coalition forces in Aden, Brigadier Awad Al Ahbabi.

The Director of the center, Saeed Al Kaabi, briefed al-Maysari on the humanitarian, development and services support the UAE had been offering in all the liberated Yemeni provinces since 2015 until today. The support includes security, education, health, water, energy, food aid and other projects.

Al-Maysari pointed out that the role of the UAE is not limiting its intervention to providing humanitarian assistance only, but it also makes great efforts in rehabilitating the security facilities in Yemen in addition to training and equipping police to carry out their duties in maintaining security and stability.

He said that the Yemeni people will not forget this UAE historic stand by the side of the Yemeni people which reflects the policy of the UAE's wise leadership and its brotherly people.

Al Kaabi said that the UAE pays particular attention to the humanitarian situation in Yemen by meeting the needs of the people of the liberated areas.

He pointed out that there are future plans to support all development and service sectors in the liberated areas in Yemen and the Yemeni people will see their outcomes in succession.
