Expatriates Ministry, IOM discuss qualifying Yemeni labors

Minister of Expatriates Affairs Alawi ba-Faqih discussed on Tuesday with the Head of the Mission of the International Organization for Migration Sarat Dash support of the organization to activities of the ministry.
Minister ba-Faqih showed the ministry's plan for preparing a strategy for qualifying Yemeni labors through training programs in cooperation with related government institutions, as well as private and international institutions for making use of job opportunities provided by future economic projects in Gulf countries' labor markets.
The two parties also discussed projects agreed upon by the regional representative of the IOM for the Middle East region like institutional support project to the office of the ministry's in Aden and the voluntary return of Yemeni displaced people in Egypt and Jordan.
They agreed on coordination between the ministry's office and the IOM's office at al-Wadi'a outlet for providing services to expatriates and visitors returning homeland.
