Training course on international law to Yemen NCIAVHR held in Jordon

A workshop on International Humanitarian Law for the National Commission to Investigate Alleged Violations to Human Rights (NCIAVHR) has kicked off on Tuesday.
The workshop is being held within the program of capacity building and technical help to the commission and carried out by the UN High Commission for Human Rights.
The workshop, which lasts for four days with participation of nine members of the commission, discusses necessity military and proportionality.
Yemen's Ambassador to Jordon Ali al-Ma'mari attended the launching ceremony of the workshop.
The head of the NCIAVHR Judge Ahmad al-Muflihi presented a review on the activities of the commission on investigation, pointing out that the commission is taking into consideration protection of human rights and significance of discussion sessions made by the commission and the HCHR for evaluating human rights in Yemen.
For his part, the Director of the HCHR Dr. Alobeid Ali confirmed significance of the commission's activities in investigating alleged violations of human rights, thanking the embassy for its efforts it exerts in Jordon and for help holding the workshop.
