ADEN-SABA
The Ministry of Human Rights has condemned the Houthi missile attack on internally displaced people in a makeshift camp in Aljawf province north of Yemen.

The rebels fired Katyucha rockets at the camp on Monday which led to the killing of five civilians, three women and two children, and to the injury of several others all of them are women and children too.

"This crime is one of the serial crimes the Houthi militia has been committing against the civilians for three years," read the ministry's statement which was issued shortly after the incident.

"Firing rockets on areas populated by civilians is a crime against humanity and a stark violation of the UN Security Council resolutions including the resolution no, 2216 which concerns Yemen."

The Ministry said it was "surprised" why the international community, the UN and the UN Security Council are silent" on the violations that the Iran-backed militia commits.
