YCB denies to have withdrawn banknotes from different provinces

An authoritative official in the Yemeni Central Bank (YCB) in its official headquarters in the interim capital Aden has refuted the false news circulated by some media outlets about withdrawing banknotes from different local markets in the country.
In a press release issued by the YCB the Yemeni News Agency Saba) got a copy of it, the official stated that all banknotes issued by the YCB have their own full legal characteristic.
The official noted that any previous procedures that were touched upon it happened that they were redressed under legal frameworks and directives of the President of the Republic pays the YCB special attention.
The official indicated that the YCB with its all branches and staffs have been working amid very difficult conditions the country has been going through on boosting the bank and revitalize national economy. They are doing their best to serve the country's interest in accordance with YCB law no 14 of 2000.
