[02/07/2018 07:09]

RIYAYDH- SABA
Spokesperson of Saudi-led Arab Coalition Forces to support legitimacy in Colonel Turki Al-Maliki stated that the Coalition Command denies what incorporated in the UN Secretary General Antonio Gutterres report that included incorrect information about the children who lost their own lives in the armed conflict in Yemen. As the report cited several figures attributed to the Coalition, besides disinformation that weren't professionally documented, rather such information were taken from local organizations sponsored by former President Ali Saleh.

Al-Maliki confirmed that there were no such cases already documented of these allegations neither by images, place nor by time and date.

At the weekly press briefing Monday in Riyadh Al-Malik indicated that" National Investigation Committee (NIC)" noted in its recent reports that there were more than 100 cases of children who lost their lives in battlefield and Houthi militia carried out their bodies to capital Sana'a and issued their death certificates, therefore the incorporated figures in the report included several disinformation.

The UN Secretary General report cited cases of child recruitment up to 12 year-old, meanwhile Al-Malik stated that the Coalition has got documented cases of child recruitment at age 8, yet such information haven't been communicated with the UN".

Al-Malik held Houthi militia accountable for the children who lost their own lives due to the child recruitment by the militia.
