Rabat hosts symposium on cultural, educational institutions in Yemen

A seminar held Sunday in Rabat about cultural, educational and media institutions in our country.
The function organized by our country's embassy in Morocco in cooperation with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

Our country's Ambassador to Morocco Ez Adin Al-Asbahi gave a word in the opening session in which explained Houthi putschist militia's crimes ever since it emerged in Sa'ad and took over the state's institutions.

He cited the huge damages the militia has caused to cultural and educational sectors." It is reported that 1600 schools were destroyed, 270 shcools were turned into military barricades by the militia three million children outside schools, some 166 thousands of teachers haven't been paid for two couple of years", said Al-Asbahi.

For his part Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr Abdulaziz Altwaijri said "the rebellion of the Houthi coupist militia in Yemen receives foreign support to undermine Yemen's sovereignty, security, independence and social fabric".

Several working papers presented by academics and specialists about the situations of cultural, educational and media institutions in since the militia carried out its notorious coup d'état.
