Scores of activists staged a rally in the French capital, Paris, on Wednesday to demand the international community pressure the Houthimilitia into withdrawing from the city of Hodeidahand handing it over to the government.
The rally, organized by My Right non-government organization, said the Houthi militia is responsible for the consequences of holding civilians as human shields and embedding their military hardware in densely populated neighborhoods.
They said that the local NGOs are planning on pursuing those crimes legally.
The protesters demanded the international community to adopt an urgent program for saving Yemen from further deterioration in the humanitarian conditions, and to pressure the Houthis into ending their systematic crimes against civiliansand into abiding by the UN Security Council resolution 2216.
