TAIZ - SABA
The international humanitarian agency, CARE, organized a workshop on the mechanism of targeting emergency food aid beneficiaries in Taiz on Monday.
The workshop was attended local authority officials and community leaders from the districts of Cairo and Almodhfar in downtown Taiz.
The workshop highlighted the need to create a database of the people affected by the war in Taiz so that the aid can be distributed accordingly.
Speaking in the workshop, the Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor local branch office, the Director of the national Supreme Committee for Relief Aid local branch, Dr. Nabil al-Hakimi, stressed the importance of creating such a database to identify the magnitude of the need for aid so as to avoid double benefits and any other irregularities in aid distribution.
