KUALA LUMPUR-SABA
The Republic of Yemen got an invitation from the International Islamic University in Malaysia for participation in the third Asian Conference on Education here.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Khaled al-Wosabi heads Yemen's delegation in the conference, which is supportedNama Corporation and the Organization of the Islamic Conference.

University rectors and ministers from 66 Arab and Asian countries participate in the conference.

The conference, which will be held on 25-26 issues of this June, discusses issues related to performance of universities, specifications and governance for adopting a new mechanism for evaluating universities and listing them accordingly.

It aims at enriching the conference with Asian academic and formal plans for coordination with Arab party and adopting an international unique stage for Arab universities for filling the gap between Arab cultures and others.

It also aims at creating sustainable academic relations, revising higher education, studying performance of the universities and enhancing inclusive quality, successful examples and future strategies.

The Rector of Taiz University Professor Mohammad al-Shuaibi participates in the conference.
