Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee (SRC)—Abdulraqeeb Fatah met Tuesday with Adviser in Royal Divan, General Supervisor of KSrelief Center, Dr Abdullah Arabi'a.
Fatah's talks with Dr Arabi'a focused on establishing further coordination between the (SRC) and KSrelief with the purpose of moving to the second phase of Relief Operation that aims to support income-generate projects can help to improve peoples' living conditions in the short and medium terms.
Underway arrangements for Paris Humanitarian and Relief Conference on Yemen, scheduled for end of June were also discussed.
During his trip, Fatah contributed to the signature of 4 agreements with the International Organization of Migration (IOM), UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) an Al-Khair Coalition for Humanitarian Relief.
The four agreements totaling $5 million and 333 thousand dollars. Under these agreements developmental relief projects will be established in Yemen.
Fatah said:" These agreements came within the framework of coordination and cooperation between the SRC and KSrelief Center to move forward to the second phase of 'Relief Action' that seeks to support income-generate and heavy labors projects in line with the government's Plan 2018".
