The Spokesman of the Arab Coalition backing the Yemeni government said that the Coalition forces are massive humanitarian aid operations in Yemen as part of their Restoration of the Hope operation in the country.
In a press conference in Riyadh on Monday, he said that Houthi threats to regional and international security will be met with providing more backing to the Yemeni army to remove those threats.
He said that the recent visit by the Commander of the joint forces of the Coalition Lt. Gen. prince Fahad bin Turki bin Abdul Aziz to the military operations area in the Yemeni territories adjacent to Saudi Arabia's southern borders was meant to inspect and follow up on the military process which has achieved lots of advances in all areas in Yemen.
He said that the Houthis are committing human rights violation storming orphanages and coercing children to join the fighting zones.
Reports indicate that 200 child orphans recruited into the battlefield and used as human shields have been killed. Seventy percent of the recently recruited children have surrendered themselves to the army, said Maliki.
