Foreign Minister Khaled Hussein Alyemany has hailed South Korea's support for Yemen and contribution to funding the UN's Humanitarian Response Plan for Yemen by providing food aid and revitalizing scholarships for Yemenis seeking to pursue higher studies in South Korea.

Alyemany made the remarks in a meeting with South Korean Ambassador to Yemen PAK Woongchu.

The Korean ambassador affirmed his country's continued support to the internationally recognized government of Yemen and commitment to helping the Yemeni people overcome these exceptionally difficult circumstances.
