Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Dahan discussed today with the UNICEF's Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa Geert Cappelaere revitalizing the UNICEF's office in Aden and strengthening the relationship between the government and the UNICEF.
Dahan praised the UNICEF for supporting children in Yemen and for being one of the main partners who contributed to preventing the collapse of the health system as the Houthi barbaric war raged in different parts of Yemen.
For his part, the UN official stressed the UNICEF's keenness to provide the necessary support to Yemen.
He pointed out that the UNICEF will examine the issues raised by Yemen in order to work to find appropriate solutions to them and deal with them positively and to achieve the desired goals.
