Deputy governor of Hodeida province, Walead Al-Qodaimi met Tuesday, in the interim capital Aden, with a delegation of the German Organization of Hope Vision, headed by Mattes Lybrand.
The meeting focused on the humanitarian and relief programs and plans in Hodeida.
Al-Qodaimi highlighted the need for an intervention by the German organization to relieve the Hodeida's IDPs who fled to the provinces of Aden, Lahj and Abyan. He deeply appreciated the German organization's humanitarian efforts that significantly helped to alleviate the province population's suffering due Houthi militia war.
The head of the delegation explained that the organization has been carrying out humanitarian projects in the province of Hodeida including Emergency Food Aids and Food and Agricultural Security Project, which targets districts of Kamaran, al-Salif and Al-Jarahi.
For her part, Director of the organization's Office in Aden, Sena Awdh stated that the organization has got a five-year project targeting five thousands of small farmers in the provinces of Hodeida and Hajja.
"The project aimed to offer support in the area of seeds, poultry and beehives", said Sena.
