Al-Ma'mari confirms death of dozens detainees under torture in Houthi militia's jails

Former abducted and prisoner by Houthi putschist militia, Jamal Al-Ma'amari, has confirmed that dozens of the kidnapped and forced disappeared persons were killed due to brutal torture that is systematically exercised by Houthi militia.

Speaking at press conference co-organized Wednesday in the Yemeni embassy in Riyadh by the two Ministries of Information and Human Rights, Al-Ma'amari narrated the details of his ordeal for three years in the militia's detention jails.

He cited the barbaric torture he was subjected to during his detention. He reported that he was subjected to horrible brutal forms of torture including scorching, electric shock, punching by drill device, constant beating with sticks, depriving from sleep for days, all resulted in paralyzing him.

Al-Ma'ari appealed to the legitimate government, Arab Coalition and international community to move to save more than 6000 of the detainees, abductees and forced disappeared peoples have been subjected to different forms of barbaric torture by the Houthi militiamen.
