ADEN-SABA
The Republic of Yemen has condemned the Israeli brutal killing of defenseless Palestinian people.
In a statement of Saba received a copy, the Yemeni Foreign Ministry expressed its strong condemnation of the Israeli practices against the Palestinian people in the past two days, which left dozens of people dead and wounded as unarmed Palestinian civilians were protesting against the US decision to move its embassy in Israel to al-Quds (Jerusalem) after having recognized it as the capital of Israel.
"As expressed previously, the Yemeni government rejects the transfer of the US embassy to the occupied al-Quds," the ministry said in a statement.
The statement said the move is "a challenge to the international consensus and a threat to stability and a catalyst for parties seeking to destabilize the region, such as the Israeli entity and the Iranian regime, to carry out more actions that threaten the stability of the region and heighten tensions."
The Foreign Ministry expressed its full solidarity with the Palestinian people, calling on all countries to condemn the Israeli actions and take serious steps to save the Palestinian people and the occupied city of al-Quds.
