Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafi received on Tuesday the credentials of Bahrain's new ambassador to Yemen Hamoud bin Abdullah Al Khalifa.
Al-Mekhlafi affirmed that the Yemeni government will provide the necessary facilitations for Al Khalifa to accomplish his mission as a non-resident ambassador and will work with him to ensure the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Mekhlafi praised the Yemeni-Bahraini relations and the exchange of support and bilateral coordination in various international and regional forums.
Al Khalifa affirmed his country's support to the internationally recognized government of President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi. He said he is looking forward to the restoration of the Yemeni state and for peace to prevail.
