Vice President (Lt Gen) Ali Mohssen Saleh has reiterated Yemen's condemnation of the US decision to move its embassy to the city of Al-Quds which is the capital of the Palestine since the decision is considered to be in breach of the international resolutions about this issue, moreover it hinders peace.
(Lt Gen) Mohssen's statement voiced as he met Tuesday with the US ambassador to our country Mathew Tuller.
The Vice President's conversation with the US diplomat focused on the latest development in Yemen and underway efforts aiming to establish peace that is based on the GCC's Initiative, its operational mechanism, outcomes of the National Dialogue and international resolutions.
(Lt Gen) has affirmed the legitimate leadership's support for the good offices have been made by the UN envoy to Yemen Martin Griffith.
He also touched upon the government's efforts aimed to re-normalize the situations, eliminate the coup and fighting terrorism.
The Vice President expressed Yemen's support for the American President Donald Trump to withdraw from Iran nuclear agreement given that Iran has been promoting a sectarian and spoiling scheme in Yemen and the region.
For his part, the US ambassador reiterated his country's support for the legitimate leadership and Yemen's security, stability and unity.
