ADEN-SABA
The Republic of Yemen has condemned the suicide bombings that targeted three churches in the city of Surabaya in Indonesia and the knife attack that killed one person and injured four others in central Paris.
"Whilst strongly condemning terrorist acts wherever they occur, the Government of the Republic of Yemen affirms its full solidarity with all the brotherly and friendly countries," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement received by Yemen news agency "Saba."
"While condemning these acts of terror, werealize that the policy of intimidation practiced by terrorist entities against the international community should not go unpunished. That should be followed by drying up the resources of extremism and terrorism and drying the sources of terror finance," the statement added.
The statement stressed that these criminal acts targeting civilians and public places underline the danger of terrorism as a flagrant threat that requires a serious international counteraction to fight it and eliminate it.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its heartiest condolences to the families of the victims, and to the governments and people of Indonesia and France, wishing the people wounded in the terror attacks speedy recovery.
