TUNISIA-SABA
Conference of Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science (ALECSO) concluded its 24th Round sessions Thursday. Yemen participated in the gathering with a delegation headed by our country's ambassador to Tunisia Abdulnasser Ba-Habeeb.
Ba-Habeeb contributed to the Conference's discussions, citing the situations in Yemen and the disastrous consequences of the Houthi rebel militia upon the education and culture.
The ambassador informed the participants in the ALESCO's Conference about the reckless and irresponsible practice of the militia that has made amendments on the textbooks aimed to promote sectarian-doctrine.
The ambassador added saying" the militia has committed grave violation of the children rights, recruiting them and dispatching them to frontline battles".
" The Houthi putschist militia has turned schools, universities and educational institutions into military barracks… distorted several historical sites", said Ba-Habeeb.
