Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior Eng. Ahmed Al-Maisari met Tuesday in the interim capital Aden with the mission of the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) in our country.
Al-Maisari welcomed the ICRC delegation, highly appreciating the significant humanitarian role played by the ICRC in different Yemeni regions. He extended his condolences on the martyrdom of the ICRC's official Hanna Lahoud who was killed while on duty in Taiz province by unidentified gunmen.
Al-Maisari blamed Houthi militia for creating obstructions to deny humanitarian and relief aids access to the people in need in the militia controlled areas.
The delegation detailed the Deputy Premier on the ICRC's activities it carried out over the past and its future's plans.
