Deputy Minister of Technical Education and Vocational Training Abd-Rabbo al-Mahwali has confirmed the significant role of local and international organizations and societies in providing work opportunities to youth for improving their living conditions.
In the graduation ceremony for 420 male and female youth on the project o Regaining Means of Living Conditions of Effected People from Conflicts, al-Mahwali called for taking care of youth whether by public sector or by private one or by organizations and societies as youth are the pillars of the society.
The program is organized by the Development Organization for All (DOFA) within the programs of supporting stability in Yemen financed by Japan's Government and the UNDP in districts of Sira, Mualla and Towahi here.
For her part, the Executive Director of DOFA Sabah Bukair said 420 male and female youth have been trained by the project on vocations and skills on mobile maintenance, electricity, pumping, air-conditioning, photocopying and swing.
These skills will help youth and their families on improving their living conditions via personal small projects, she added.
