The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani met today, Friday, in Baghdad, with the Special Envoy of the Russian President for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov.

Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulmalik al-Mikhlafi discussed with Indian State Minister for External Affairs M. J. Akbar on Thursday political developments in Yemen and improving mutual relations between the two countries.
On the sideline of the International Ministerial Conference for Combating Financing Islamic State, al-Qaeda and Terrorist Groups on Thursday, al-Mikhlafi confirmed Yemeni government's support to the UN Envoy for reaching permanent and just peace on the bases of the GCC Initiative, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Resolution 2216.
He made it clear that all exerted efforts have been blocked by Iranian interferences and insistence of Iranian regime on using Houthi militia as a tool for controlling Yemen and harming the security of the region and using their-held areas as rocket launching-pad for targeting Saudi Arabia.
He expressed readiness of the government to provide all facilitations needed for the return of the Indian Company carrying out power projects in Mareb.
For his part, Akbar renewed his country's firm position supporting the legal government and support to its efforts for realizing peace, hoping agreement between all Yemeni parties for the salvation of Yemen.
He showed readiness of returning the Indian Company to Yemen for resuming power project after a report on security situation.
