Supreme Relief Committee has condemned with the most powerful words the Houthi putschist militia move in which the militiamen prevent 19 ships laden with oil derivatives from access to Hodeida seaport.

Minister of Local Administration—Chairman of Supreme Relief Committee—Abdulraqeeb Fatah told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) :" The Militia has taken thve advantage of its control of over Hodeida harbor to hold back the ships carrying relief and humanitarian aids, denying humanitarian assistance access to people in need. It happened that Houthi militia had detained earlier more than 65 ships laden with relief stuffs, moverover the militia has been using the seaport for military purposes, threatening the international marine navigation in the Red Sea".

The minister has reiterated the government's call on the international community to bear its legal responsibility and mount pressure on the militia to refrain from holding the commercial ships and hand over the seaports to the internally recognized Yemeni government.

Fatah holds the putschist militia accountable for denying the humanitarian aids access the Hodieda seaport that further worsening the humanitarian situations in the militia-controlled regions.
