Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh has called for establishing a hospital in Yemen that offers traditional Chinese medicine services alongside modern medical services.

Yemen's government has condemned the killing of a staff member of the International Committee of the Red Cross. Unknown gunmen opened fire on an ICRC car killing Hanna Lahoud, a Lebanese national in Taiz city on Saturday.
As the ICRC's man in charge of the detention program, Lahoud was on his way visit a prison facility in the war-torn city besieged by Houthi rebels.
Minister of Local Administration, the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Relief Aid, Abruraqeeb Fatah, said the local government in Taiz opened investigations to identify who is responsible behind this criminal act and bring them to justice.
He said that the Relief Committee is following up on the tragic event. He condoled the ICRC in Yemen and praised their contribution to mitigating the dire humanitarian situation that the Houthi rebellion has caused in Yemen.
