Governor of Taiz Dr. Amin Mahmoud has confirmed finalizing studies and designs for rehabilitating and maintenance work of all government buildings within forthcoming weeks.
He called on all social categories for integration under the government of President Abd-Rabbo Mansour Hadi and concentration on liberating Taiz Province from Houthi militia.
In a press conference he held on Saturday, he talked about normalizing life and activating institutions in the province, stressing on making the national interests above all other interests and facing those who plot against Taiz.
He also reviewed normalizing situations in Taiz via implementation of a number of projects, restructuring the army brigades and re-building police and security forces.
He confirmed finalizing security plans for resumption of the rule of law, tightening security and protecting souls and possessions, pointing out to re-operating and activating the majority of executive offices and implementation of a number of projects in service fields.
Governor Mahmoud pointed out that the government allocated YR. one billion for treating injured people inside and outside Yemen, noting that the problem of stopped government employees' salaries have been solved and that the employees will receive their salaries regularly.
He thanked Arab Coalition led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates for their efforts towards Taiz and its people.
