Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher appreciated hard work by the Yemeni Airways Company to cope with the increasingly growing demands the company has been struggling with due to the tough times Yemen has been going through due to the devastating war waged by the Houthi rebel militias.
As he met on Thursday with chairman of the board of directors of the Yemeni Airways Company Captain Ahmed Al-Alwani, Dr Bin-Dagher stated that the government is very keen to help the company further develop its business in the forthcoming period.
The Prime Minister stressed that it is very important to initiate new travel destinations, operate additional flights to all airports in the government-held provinces.
The discussion also touched upon the wounded persons' travel for medical treatment abroad and bringing Yemeni students abroad back to the country.
Bin-Dagher ordered to transfer portion of the Yemeni Airways' money the government owed to the company to contribute to the needed costs for the wounded peoples' medication abroad. os money the government owed
