Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Governor, Care International discuss projects in Taiz

Governor of Taiz Dr. Amin Mahmoud and team of Care International discussed on Monday the organization's projects in the province and difficulties facing their implementation.

Mahmoud confirmed that the local authority will provide suitable environment for facilitating activities of the organization. He stressed on coordination with the branch of the Supreme Relief Committee in the province as one-window body tasked with relief.

Deputy Governor, the Head of the Branch Relief Committee Rashad al-Akhalireviewed relief activities in the city and humanitarian situations, pointing out that up to 120 thousand cases need relief, especially after returning citizens to their city.

Meanwhile , the Care International's team reviewed the projects implemented by the organization during the past two years and ongoing projects in a number of districts across the province.

According to the team, 60 projects in fields of water, food and health are the total projects in the province, clarifying that the organization will commence relief project financed by World Food Program.

Lasts for six months, the project targets 27203 families in districts of al-Qahera and al-Muzaffar.
