Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhybeh has called for establishing a hospital in Yemen that offers traditional Chinese medicine services alongside modern medical services.

Yemen has attained three trophies in in the Arab Open Competition on Robots hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Students from a number of Yemeni schools namely the Academy of Talents, the Arab Society for Robots, Ben Mahfouz School, and the Beihani Secondary School won the Team Work Cup in the First Ligo (FLL), the robot-Sumo and ball collection competitions. FLL is a robotics tournament where kids need to solve a tricky "mission" with the help of a robot.
The tournament, which is attended by 1200 students from 41 Arab countries, is competitions in the design and programming of tutorial robots.
