Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Investigators document 5,432 abuse allegations across Yemen in 7 months

National investigators have documented 5,432 allegations of human rights abuses across Yemen over a period of seven months, from 1st July 2017 to 31st January 2018.
The National Commission to Investigate Allegations of Human Rights Abuses said in a new report its investigators documented these claims following a methodology that meets the international criteria for investigations including objectivity, transparency, impartiality and professionalism.
The Commission's chairman Ahmed Saeed al-Moflahi has told Saba that they have investigated into 2432 claims sorted out into more than 20 types of abuses.
The Commission verified 550 cases of killing and 579 cases of injuring civilians, 185 cases of recruiting under-15 child children as fighters, 98 cases of planting anti-personnel landmines and 19 anti-vehicle landmines.
The anti-personnel killed 19 civilians and injured 55 others.
The anti—vehicle killed 24 civilians and injured three others.
The verified cases included five cases of attack of historical and cultural sites in Aden, Taiz, Marib, Hajjah and Beidha; five attacks on ambulances and health facilities and a forced displacement of 417 families.
Twenty five alleged civilian fatalities by US drone air strikes were documented.
