Yemen's ambassador to Cuba Mohammed Saleh Nasher met Thursday with the Director of Middle-East and North Africa Department in the Cuban Foreign Ministry Hector Garza.
Yemeni-Cuban bilateral ties and topics of common interests were discussed.
During the meeting Nasher handed over a letter from the Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Abdulmalik Al-Mekhlafi to his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez. The letter is said to be dealt with enhancing relations between the two friendly countries.
Nasher also explained the situations in Yemen and the legitimate government's commitment to the peace choice under the UN guidance on the basis of the GCC's Initiative, outcomes of the National Dialogue and International Security Council resolution 2216.
The Cuban official confirmed his government's support for the Yemeni legitimate government, wishing Yemen peace and stability.
