Human Rights Ministry has deprecated Houthi militia's continuous violations of human rights and atrocities against opponents of politicians and activists.

The Ministry said in statement issued Wednesday that " Houthi rebellious militia had abducted more than 30 persons were visiting the house of the former President Ali Abdullah Saleh in which the militia executed him on December 4,2018."

In a press release the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) received a copy of, the Ministry condemned the assault by the coup d'état militia against the participants in the sit-in protest organized by the supporters of the General People Congress (GPC) in the capital Sana'a.

The Assistant Secretary General of the GPC, Fa'iqa Assyed along with dozens of the GPC's members and supporters were attacked by the Houthi militiamen and gunwomen who assaulted the protesters with electric rods and batons. Some 30 participants including women were arrested and moved into the militia's unknown detention places, according to the Ministry statement.

The Human Rights Ministry called on the International organizations operate presently in the capital Sana'a to pressure the militia to immediately release the abductees who have been detained the militia's jails..
