The Saudi cabinet welcomed today the presidential statement issued by the UN Security Council on the situation in Yemen.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Cabinet welcomed in its meeting, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in Riyadh on Tuesday the statement including the condemnation of the Houthis' ballistic missile attacks against the kingdom.
The UNSC statement the rebel militia's firing of ballistic missiles they receive from Iran toward the Saudi territories.
The statement also hailed King Salman Center for Relief Aid's announced plan for massive humanitarian aid to Yemen.
The Cabinet said that the UNSC's statement reflects the commitment of the UN Security Council to resolving the Yemeni conflict through a political settlement based on the three relevant references; the GCC Brokered Agreement, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference and the UN Security Council resolutions.
