PM praises Yemeni-Chinese historic relations

Prime Minister Dr Ahmed Obeid Bin-Dagher described Yemeni-Chinese relationship as historic and deeply rooted.

As he received Saturday the Charge d' affairs of the Chinese embassy in our country, Dr Bin-Dagher deeply appreciated China's stance alongside Yemeni people through different times. Most recent China's supportive stance toward Yemen is supporting the legitimate Yemeni government against the coup.

The Prime Minister stated that Yemeni people and political leadership hinge great hope on China's active contribution to the post-war reconstruction process, investments and economic cooperation between the two friendly countries.

Bin-Dagher thoroughly briefed the Chinese diplomat that the legal government has been very keen on making peace and putting an end of fighting on the basis of GCC's Initiative, outcomes of the National Dialogue and International Security resolution 2216, not the peace that Houthi militia wants to impose "fait a commpli" and maintain the government's looted weapons .

For his own, the Chinese diplomat has made clear that his country is very interested in further strengthening the relations and cooperation with Yemen in different spheres, reiterating China's support for the legitimate Yemeni government and Yemen's stability and security.
