Minster of Social Affairs and Labor Dr Ebtihaj Al-Kamal met Thursday with the Director of Woman Center of the Economic Commission of West Asia, Mahrinaz, and the Head of Department of Justice Between Genders in Economic and Social Committee of West Asia, Nada Drozah.
The meeting held in New York on the sideline of 62nd Round of UN Committee for Woman Affairs.
The two sides agreed on reviving partnership between the Yemeni government and the ESCWA organization. To this end, Al-Kamal agreed with Mahrinaz and Drozah to commence with a training of trainers project on developing woman national strategy and building capacities of the representatives of Social Affairs and Labor Ministry and woman organizations in Yemen.
The two sides also have already agreed to organize a training course for a number of Yemeni women trainers next July.
