Military engineers have detonated several naval mines planted by the Houthicoup militia off the coast of Meedi in Hajjah provinceon Sunday.

"The engineering teams found a group of naval mines planted by the coupist militia north-west of Meedi coast and detonated them on Sunday morning," a military source told the armed forces Information Center.

The military engineering teams havemanaged during the past period to extract hundreds of naval mines planted by Houthisin the international waters and the shores of Meedi, and disrupted several attempts to plant mines.
