FM to participate in the Arab Foreign Ministers session in Cairo

Foreign Minister Abdul-Malik al-Mekhlafiwill be participating the 149th session of the Arab League Council of Foreign Ministers scheduled to be held in Cairo on Wednesday.

The session will be held in preparation for the Arab summit which will be held in the Saudi capital Riyadh in the second half of this month.

The session is expected to discuss the pan-Arab plans for countering terrorism and what has been achieved over the past years.

It is expected to address the issues of Yemen, Syria, Libya, and Somalia mainly the threats posed by Houthis, al-Qaeda and ISIL.
