Houthi Militia continue human rights violations

The Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations has confirmed that Houthi militia has been committing wide human rights violations since their coup against the legitimacy in 2014, complicating Yemeni tragedy.

" All Yemeni political and social forces have agreed on the so-called the document of the Inclusive National Dialogue Conference in 2012… the document included basic and prime foundations for transitional justice and national reconciliation, but Houthi militia overthrew against the document on the 21st of September 2014 causing catastrophic war on Yemen," said Right Activist Riyadh al-Duba'i in a speech for the coalition on the sidelines of holding the 37th round of UN Human Rights Council here.

"We herewith confirm basic points represented in putting an end to rounds of violence and armed conflicts, restoring peace and the state of national reconciliation and having a package of legislations and institutional measures for bringing justice to victims and opening transparent investigations with those involved in violating human rights," he said.

He also confirmed criminalizing givingviolators higher military and political positions (political isolation,) regaining funds and lands seized during the period of clashes and bring justice to victims and compensating them.
